Located just moments from Saunton Sands Beach, Saunton Beach Villas enjoy a prime location on the Devon Coast.
Unlike many beaches across the UK, Saunton Beach is dog friendly all year round, making these self-catering villas the ideal destination for holidays in all seasons. With 4, 6 and 8 berth villas available for short or week breaks, there is a getaway for everyone!
Where is Saunton?
Saunton Beach in North Devon is an astounding 3.5 mile stretch of golden sand, backed by Braunton Burrows UNESCO Biosphere Reserve. The beach sits on the Atlantic coast in the South West of the UK, approximately an hour’s drive from Exeter and 15 minutes from Barnstaple. The surrounding villages of Braunton, Croyde, and Woolacombe boast fantastic pubs and cafes, many of which are dog friendly. In our villas, you’ll find a handy guide that will give further details on local dog friendly establishments.
How many dogs can I bring?
You’ll be delighted to hear that they do not place a limit on the number of dogs that guests can bring, but do ask that any guest considering bringing 3+ gets in touch to discuss their requirements. This is so they can assist in choosing a suitable villa large enough for all dogs and human guests to be comfortable! The team are available to speak to on Facebook chat, or on the phone (Mon-Fri, 9am – 5pm).
Each villa comes with a medium sized dog crate with water proof mattress. Under the kitchen sink you will find dog bowls as well as dog blankets to use on the sofas, should your dogs like cuddles in the evenings. In the garden is an outside shower to use if the dogs get muddy/sandy paws whilst running on the beach or exploring one of the many local coastal walks. All villa gardens are fully enclosed for your peace of mind.
Let’s talk prices
In low season, breaks at Saunton Beach Villas start from just £250 for a short break in a 4 berth villa. There is a small one-off fee for bringing your dogs, however, the fee only applies to the first dog; subsequent dogs stay free! Throughout the year, they run several dogs stay free periods, so you can really grab a bargain!
